Denise Mahaffey, a former national Director of Marketing, founded Mahaffey Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) in 2005 and in 2019 co-founded Trinity Global Enterprises, LLC, a public relations and media agency. TGE Research and TGE Media were also created to pioneer and grow emerging industries with marketing, PR and media. Through Mahaffey’s leadership, mass awareness of industries has ranged from IT and biotech to consumer and pet products, research, agriculture natural wellness and more.
Catalyzing positive global change for the legal cannabis industry began in 2013 with global marketing, PR and media. Mahaffey produced more than 1,000 news interviews about CBD. This historic body of work is portrayed as world acceptance of a new product: hemp phytocannabinoids (cannabidiol / CBD). Unprecedented global law and policy changes led to accessibility of CBD (U.S.A., Europe, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, approved use by the MMA and governing sports agencies WADA and USADA). Hemp was restored to the U.S. economy in 2018, after a nearly 80-year absence. Today, the hemp CBD market alone is estimated to reach $22 billion by 2024.
Mahaffey’s experience is unique: creating awareness of multiple initiatives and simultaneously producing events & media interviews. The results created a reputation; the agency produces maximum results in little time. Denise Mahaffey’s support of non-profit organizations (more than 40 to-date) was recognized with San Diego’s “40 Under 40” award for business and charitable leadership. Inspire San Diego Day, a public event Mahaffey co-created and produced, featured renowned business leaders and resulted in a proclamation from the City. A prior Board member of Dress for Success San Diego, Mahaffey empowers women in business and in life. The San Diego Foundation personally selected Mahaffey as one of 150 regional Ambassadors; Our Greater San Diego Vision became the largest body of civic research available for public access.
